No complicated choices here, just a yes/no to find out if the majority of the SPIN population likes the car's look or not.

When my dad was considering it and almost bought it, I would argue that I liked the way it looked. Honestly, it never really sunk in as good. I vote no.

i voted no, but i must say it is better looking than some of the other new BMW designs(like the 1er, which looks like crap to me).

As for this poll(i'm sure it will come out really close or slightly on the no side), i don't think dan should change the banner based on this poll.

The purpose is to prove someone wrong, the banner is irrelevent.  ;)

It is a 5-series, and a 15 person sample group isn't large enough to prove anyone wrong.

Well, aren't you a precocious little taking statistics/psychology little fellow, aren't you?

The thing is, if I say it's good then it's good.  To me, anyway.

Same here, whenever I see one I have to admit that I give it a second or third look.  It definately has a presence on the road.

Change the dorky headlites and tail lites, and I could fall passionately in love with the style.  I love the old 3, 5 and 7 series though.  Not much could be improved on them!

I still hate the way the front is done with the headlights and grille completely blended into the bumper (I feel it doesn't look BMW at all and doesn't match the rest of the car's stance).

However, the rest of the car is, simply said, an incredible work of art. There are very few cars on the road that can match the 5-Series' stance and presence.

I voted Yes.

I completely agree, I love the way the rest of the car looks but those stupid headlights ruin it for me    :(

Well when I first saw it, I thought it was a 5-series but then I saw this-> link (http://forums.carspin.net/index.php?showtopic=281&view=findpost&p=94074) and I just assumed Dan was correct. Now that I look at it more closely, I am once again sure it is 5-series.

We don't have enough people for the result to indicate a trend on a larger scale.

That's why I limited my statement to "most people here". The 19 voters do not, of course, make up close to the majority of CarSPIN members, but it is unlikely that the trend would change dramatically with every last active member being included.

A victory for the 5er

And it rebuts the statement, at least somewhat, made on Friday that  "most people dont like the 5er anyway".
