What are they?
I liked the Ovoid Taurus, but a lot of people didn't.

Didn't like the Sable, though.

The gen that preceded it was rather shapely, IMO.

I like the Sable (minus the silly chrome fender trim) better than the Taurus.

The Oz Taurus used the Sable front end:

?
My parents had one. I wouldn't call it an attractive car, but it wasn't really ugly either. They didn't like it and got rid of it after a mere 2 years.
The 90's wasn't a time of good or bad looking cars, it was a time of inoffensive jelly beans.

I thought it was one of the better looking cars in it's class at the time. And you could get it with a V6 and 5 speed.

Yeah, the XK8 is totally hideous.
Stop being such a douche. There's no need for insults in this thread.

Oh. I will say this: The JDM and Australian Eunos 500 is hot. It also got the MX-3's 1.8L V6.

Sweet baby Jesus on a pogo stick!
We really did try to make you people want to kill yourselves if the stingrays didn't do it for us! That's pretty ugly.
My brother owns the revised Taurus from 2001, which isn't as bad as the ovoid or that one.
Dear god, the Australian one looks like it has Down Syndrome.
Really? You guys think the down under version worse than ours? The thing that I hate so much about the US Spec Taurus is the double headlight.
That gen of Taurii just look melted. They also have excessive overhang on both ends, and often have saggy rear springs that give the cars a boat stance. There is a SHO on my block... even in SHO garb there is nothing remotely attractive about the car.

The exhaust sound :ohyeah:
youtube is blocked at work, so you'll have to search for "V8 SHO exhaust" and see for yourself.

Pros
-nice exhaust note
-Isn't referred to as "show" like some retard might call it
Cons
-comical exterior
-the interior...striving for rock bottom
-not terribly fast
-4 speed auto
-doesn't handle well
-did I mention it's ugly?

Meh I would rather go all out and get a Rustang, or if I want the small displacement V8 spring for an E34 530i.

I think it looks decent, but so did the newer version of the car to me. I actually saw a 1999-2002 ES-V6 5MT today. If I could find one for sale, I'd buy it.
