d'oh Audi could have brought theirs over years ago.. I wonder if the Audi A5 4 door will come now.. lol
I don't get it.
I don't get it. 3 series = 4 doors, and 4 series = 2 doors....and 4 doors?
Whoever is in charge of the names should be drawn and quartered. The move to separate 3 & 4 series was stupid. (Not to mention sdrivexdrive335ixsportconvertiblesedan nonsense)
They used to have such an elegant naming convention and have really gone to great lengths to screw that up.
Im waiting on the 3 door. I want 2 on the drivers side

Welcome to Germany. Where we like to make things more complicated than they need to be.

It's the sedan version of the coupe version of a sedan.

It's nothing new -- it's just like how the 6-Series is a coupe derived from the 5-Series that also includes a lower-slung sedan variant. The main difference here is that the 3 and 4 are closer visually than the 5 and 6.
So confusing... but leads to hope for a M235i Gran Coupe
All these variants.... not 1 sports car smh.
Hey BMW.... take a 2 series, chop the rear seat + section out, lower it 2 inches and slap on a hatchback. Would that be too much to ask

Yes, because no one (including you) would buy it

An M135i is pretty close to that except for the rear seat delete part.
