As long as you maintain control over the video, you do t need to worry about being hoisted by your own petard. If the video helps your case, it exists; if it doesn't- you were having technical difficulties that day.

Too many variables, for me at least. A dash cam would be a solution in search of a problem.
Well, I snagged a well-reviewed cheap one ($60) off flea-bay.
I'll see how it goes. There is a particular spot that I want to use it in, beyond that I may just use it for stupid shit... At $60 I'll get my moneys worth out of it one way or another...
