Interior - uncluttered, high-quality, nice.
Exterior - nasty mess.
Power comes from the 2.4L, or the Civic's 1.5T.

Why did they have to make it uglier? Interior looks nice, though.
Bring back the Element.
The exterior looks fine except for the back. Pity Honda couldn't manage to have a volume knob *and* tuning knob, but at least having one of the two is progress.

Does anyone actually use the tuning? I'm not hurt with the lack of tuning knob

+1 I prefer buttons for tuning.
The rear end looks so top-heavy, I think that's the main problem.
Sometimes I listen to AM radio, and prefer the knob for that old timey experience.

Tru dat. Seek doesn't always catch AM stations that you know are there.
However, I'd imagine there's a tuning function on that iPad screen.

They Escaped it.

Speaking of radios, I don't understand why nobody offers weather band standard in a car. Boats have it, many big rigs have it, but I don't see it in cars. Pisses me off.

Always a good reason to get a CB.
all car makers:
-touch screen only controls are unsafe
-nobody likes your crappy proprietary infotainment platforms
-wx radio matters
-stop copying competitors' styling like some Chinese crap
Honda:
-all vehicles and powertrains should be available with manual transmissions
-all AWD systems should be SH-AWD and have a lock button for rock crawling
-bigger VTAK, more RPM, turbos good
-give us the Civic hatchback, assholes
Nice interior. I don't love the exterior but I hated the last CR-V and it eventually grew on me. I'm a fan
Front: nice
Interior: nice
Rear: wat
Dammit Honda. So close.

Looks great. I love digital gauges. Glad to see that's coming back.

No, they went Rogue

People are going to buy these by the millions so it doesn't matter what it looks like unfortunately
I was talking about the rear end, which is what Camino was talking about. But uhhhh yeah. Agreed on that front, too!
I see a lot of Nissan Rogue in this design, plus some elements from the Escape and Tucson.
The new CR-V breaks no new ground stylisticly, but it will sell in the millions anyway.

That's a fucking Crosstour. I want a real hatchback.
C&D first drive:
http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2017-honda-cr-v-first-drive-review
Important takeaways for me:
- 3300 to 3500lb curb weight
- design emphasis on improving handling and fun w/o compromising main purpose
- 30 MPG combined from the turbo
- Android Auto/Apple CarPlay in the EX
Kind of a compelling package for the class
This 1.5l turbo seems to be a good overachiever. I wonder what the tuner crowd will be able to do with it in the new SI

There is no replacement for displacement. Nissan HR16DE wins.
I like it other than the ugly-assed arse.
