When I first heard him speak I thought he was Dutch!

He may have spent time in the US and that's where he picked up the Brooklyn accent.


And he claims "Americans invented basketball..." - I thought it was the Canadians?  :mask:

Basketball was invented in Massachusetts.  Naismith was born in Canada, but moved to the US prior to inventing basketball.
