I moved in with my girlfriend.. she has a townhome with a parking lot out in front of her place that the fellow neighbors use also. She only gets 3 spaces in front of her house for cars, so we need to keep one open for visitors.
So while we are able to save a great amount of money, I'm out of a garage. And I can't keep both cars at her place.
I've looked in the area to hopefully find something like this: https://www.google.com/url?q=https://jalopnik.com/feel-free-to-stop-by-any-time-1735522334&sa=D&ust=1518965419209000&usg=AFQjCNE3OD_76mP0-bbDyvwyGUg9fTM0Ew
But all I can really find is this: https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.loopnet.com/Listing/2630-Hwy-15-S-Sumter-SC/4161323/&sa=D&ust=1518965419209000&usg=AFQjCNEdUVXxEAZ2f4IYjWvFVJjn3XJ6Ew
$1,260 for the year for a 20'x20' space isn't bad, but I have no idea how utilities would be monitored. Or if I can even lease such a small area.
I want a place to store the Miata and be able to wrench on both cars, keep extra wheels/tires, tools, etc.
Any other ideas out there?
I was going to say it would be awesome if there were somewhere where you could pay to use a lift and tools but that would be such a liability shitshow
I have no idea man.
Could get away with it at a storage unit if you're discreet. hah
I'm trying to find a solution to this as well. I never realized how rare a commodity a garage was.

There was a place near here that quickly went under exactly because of this.
How can it be such a liability shitshow? Can't be any worse than, say, a gun range. Get insurance, everybody has to sign a waiver...badda bing, badda boom. I guess the real liability comes in when somebody does some shitty work on their brakes and ends up killing someone else in an accident...
But I mean, there's obviously a reason such places don't really exist.
Sell both cars, get a CR-V. You don't need and surely can't justify anything else.

 I just had a dream that I bought a GT350 and had an 80s trans am in addition to my two other cars and this fucking CRV discussion popped into my head
I'm thinking about a Trans Am. Late 70s and 3rd gen is gonna be the next thing. Gotta get em while they're cheap.

I think 2nd gen, esp. '78 (i.e., Smokey and the Bandit) has been a fairly big thing for Trans Ams for some time.
Beyond the early '70-'71 Camaros, I think the '78 Z/28 was the next best thing for the F-Body. Trans Ams hit it pretty hard with the tacked on stuff, graphics and quad exhausts - cool in the '70s of course, but a lot to look at today. The '78 Z/28 had the hidden bumpers and no tack on stuff:

By 1980 however, the Camaro had all the tack on stuff, though no quad exhausts or garish graphics (this actually looks very good - they got the wheel backspacing and tire size just right):

I had a psychotic break from too much CR-V envy.
Wow, you were legit traumatized by it.

The tacked on stuff is fine if it goes fast. Stick a cammed LS3 and Detroit Speed suspension on it.
