GT500 because it looks more original and not as bodily modified as the Saleen. I love GT500's... :praise:
Gt500. I'm actually somewhat surprised SVT hasn't put companies like Saleen, and Roush, out of business. Who would spend the extra $$$ for either when you could just get an SVT?
Where's "Both" in the poll?
'Cause I'd damn sure like to have both a Shelby GT500 AND a Saleen S281. :praise:
The GT500 looks awesome and all, but its damn heavy. The Saleen doesnt look as overworked as in the pictures. I saw it at NY and it looked wonderful.
Well yeah I'm sure it does look very sweet...but the GT500 just has that classic Mustang look that pretty much can't be beat...the classic GT500 is one of the best looking cars ever, IMO... :D
Definitely the GT500, it just makes more sense in every way.
I feel so alone....
Well most of the people here are more muscle-car type people (because they're older) and Saleen is more of a modern tuner esque company...so the GT500 will win most of the votes because it's a classic name..along with Shelby.
It's the Shelby, by far. It's as recognizeable and significant a name as Saleen, and it offers more power for less money. Economics dictate that you must buy it!

I agree. Hell, I think the GT500 is a LOT better looking than the Saleen.

My vote is for the Shelby. It costs $11,000 less and has 50 more horses. And it looks better B)
Shelby, looks better, cheaper, more hp, and it's a SHELBY.
