The rear window is disguised - it's a rounded design.

The bad:
Notice the (dumb) tailgate edge flush with the bumper. Guaranteed sheet metal damage with a bumper tap from another car.

The good:
Modest increase in power and (*can't believe my eyes*) LIGHTER weight? Could this be the start of a trend?

No rear hanging spare tire.

Everything Honda's been coming out with recently that is actually new (Fit is not a new car to the company, so I'm not including it) has been ugly... so my hopes for the front styling aren't high.

You can tell by the slope of the windshield, placement of the side mirrors, and the slope of the hood.

Whoever rear ends that is going to be paying quite a bit of money for body repairs.

I'm not wild about it's exterior styling, but I've never been a huge fan of the Rav4 in general. The new interior is better though, and the new engine.... Well, if the CR-V matches the power of the Rav4, there are going to be a lot of very quick compact SUVs running around.
