Title: 2008 El Camino
Post by: GMPenguin on June 02, 2005, 09:38:40 AM
At GMInsidenews the member TorRed drew an El Camino for a design contest:

And the admin, Rex Raider, made this amazing rendering of the drawing:

You can barely tell, but he used a 350Z as his starting point (besides the drawing).

I could see the 350Z right away, but it still looks good.

The Z one looks really good, what the SSR whould have been from the beginning. None of this SUV chassis crap.

It's fine, I suppose, but I don't quite see why the El Camino name is attatched to it.

Well, I think it's a remarkable job (both) and that's supposed to be a bed in the back, but it needs to be longer.

I lurk over at GMI and some of the members have amazing skills, namely TorRed and RexRaider. Have you seen the new Photoshop contest for the B9 Tribeca? That should be fun. As one member said..."well at least no one can make it uglier"

That car looks too good to be an El Camino.  Just make it a proper coupe.

The headlights and all of the strong cut lines. It is a good looking vehicle no doubt, but I don't see how it is an El Camino.

Look at this one. If you can't see a Gallardo in this one you must be blind.
