So my neighbour's son turned 16 a few months ago and bought a 1997 Corolla DX with 225,000 km on it. Normal.
Then, yesterday, he rings my bell and tells me to check out the "hawwt shyt" he did to his "whip". Yes he's black...which explains the way he talks. Anyway, I expect to see a nice stereo or some rims. Instead, I see this
(http://img93.imageshack.us/img93/3392/123123za7.jpg)
He told me "he's got a boi" in case I ever want this done to my Camry or my Intrepid. I told him to come over and try that on the S550 tomorrow and he thought I was serious.
The guy's planing on putting a full body kit and a carbon-fibre wing on the thing soon... and plans on doing it all himself. His father's a carpenter. I'm just imagining 2x4s nailed to the bottoms of the bumpers.
Are you always that racist, or is this a new thing for you?
I wasn't trying to be racist. I was explaining the "whip" and the "hawwt shyt" because that's the new way black people in Toronto talk...seriously.

Lots of people talk like that though, and race has nothing to do with it, at least around here.?.
You don't have to be black to call your car a whip either. Matter of fact, I'm going to clean my whip today.
By the way...the kid just pulled in. The Corolla now has black headlights and has the side-view mirrors removed for a 'cleaner' look.

Huh. That's the way they talked in LA in the '90s.
He's black, eh?
Black people I know don't speak in a different way.
And btw.: Driving a Chrysler Intrepid might sound ricish to some people, too...

Why? It was called Dodge Intrepid in the US, but in Canada the Intrepid was always sold as a Chrysler. ;) In case you didn't know already, I live in Canada. It has Chrysler logos and the keys and everything are Chrysler, unlike my van which is clearly marked as a Dodge.

Now that is really hot shit!

My neighbor bought a Ford Escort a few months ago. It came ricered. But I have to admit, it looks better than this Corolla.
So... those are all cosemetic upgrades.
Anything to the engine?

Where'd you see it? Remember we're both in Toronto ;).
"So my neighbour's son"
Unless he's already been thrown out of the house at age 16, wouldn't he be your neighbor?
To be more specific:
Eglinton and Young
I almost crashed laughing at it.
Colour was black though.
Tell him to race your S550/Camry/Intrepid
Those upgrades sure make his car fast.

Correction: S550/Camry/Intrepid/Touareg/Allure/Grand Caravan
Better yet, tell him to race your Grand Caravan only.
I wonder who will win :praise:

Stop ragging on me on the forums. You know very well that the Allure is in Alberta.
I don't appreciate the racist slant on the original post any more than I like what he has done to the car.

They swapped the transmission. They were going to give my mom another silver 2006 CXL but they only had the CXS and CX in stock... so they just swapped the tranny and we're sticking with it. It's only an 18-month corporate lease anyway... and we've finished 4 of those months.

Its always funny....everyone,maybe even you need to keep a fricking graphic organizer or venn diagram just to keep track or what cars you have in your ever-expanding garage.

Times New Roman Size 12 --> at my doorstep by Monday. ;) Much love to you Maksx.
I had decided on stopping saying stuff to you in the forums, but while you're at it, I might as well ask you a question. You've posted lots of stuff regarding you getting a new car. When exactly are you planning on getting your license anyway? Naturally you can't drive your PARENTS VAN, forget about your own car, until you get that.
:praise:
Kindly leave me alone on the forums... if you have personal "beef", take it up with me as you sit behind me for an hour and a half out of every school day, excluding lunch hours and stuff.

Lol these no "beef" mon frere, (also conisdering you're vegetarian), and yeah, lack of a lisence (as with mpower i belive), and yes my family has an 03, almost base minivan, what else can you say? I've just summed it up...but anyway my comments are certainly more acceptable than your derogatory and dare i say racist remarks :)

Don't bring Ed into this. He doesn't constantly post pointless "OMGZ IM GETTING A CAR" threads and actually contributes to the forums. You however just come in, try to shut me down, and leave. Take my $0.02 of advice and try contributing to the forums instead of picking on one member. Sure I may make occasional 'remarks' but the guys know that it's only jokes and I'm controlling most of that now. ;)
Keep this thread on topic:
Anyone have anything else to say about the wonderful Corolla of my neighbour?
BTW I didn't want to make a new thread, but my family friends got a 2007 Passat 2.0T [4MOTION?]and I got a ride in it yesterday. VERY nice car. I'll post pics in some random thread later.
You two are like a couple of ten year old kids
You have telephones, haven't you?

We do... and we talk fine in person, on phone, and on MSN. To this day I don't understand why Maksx doesn't say anything in person and chooses to beat on me on the forums.

The way you treat each other here makes all people think you were childish and enemies. It's really hard to believe you guys are friends....
I think it would be great to leave such stuff out the forums. For you (because of your reputation) and for the forumers (because it's kind of annoying, but I must say I think it's pretty funny ).

I'd love for him to stop. Honest. I've asked him to numerous times...but the guy's a kid inside.

Me? C'mon Adi grow up for gods sake.
And yeah "omgz im getting a car" is sort of restricted to one thread...and trust me if you wer getting one , you would also be just as excited. :ohyeah:
and yeah the reason im saying something to you is because im tired of you spewing random bs...especially about the 07 camry, i mean i know you personally and have asked you, and according to you, you dont even have it yet but "it's coming"...
hmm looks like we have the same name touareg.
Really? That's wicked =)
Everyone is a kid inside :praise:
