My God...what a hard one! This'll probably be going for weeks! :P
Chevelle?
Nay.
Mustang?
Secret Chimp, pic is not showing up! Somebody please repost it if you have it on your HD.

I can't see it either, not even using the URL (http://www.xplanefreeware.net/~secretchimp/stoplookingattheurlmoron.jpg)
I could see it earlier...but now it's gone! :o Hosting site down?
There we go... and Mustang it isn't either.
Mercury Cougar?
BTW, is the pic of the rear or of the front?
Crap, I know this....
It's the front, the center of the grille.
Cutlass?
Nope.
Pontiac Parisienne?
I think I was actually supposed to make GTCC #53, but that's fine. I didn't really feel like it anyway.

Sorry, I didn't know there was a line or something.
And no, not a Pontiac Parsienne.

There isn't a line, whoever gets the last one (#52 in this case) gets to post the next one. Don't worry, 280z made the same mistake his first time . And, I am not even going to try to guess, the picture is absolutely horrible and I have next to no knowledge of cars from the '70s and '80s.
The picture is very, very blurry.
I enlarged it. You're not missing any important details. It's from the outside of the car.
Here's another picture of the exact same car:

Buick Riviera?

You don't have to worry! It all evens out here, I guess!

Not true. I got mine over a dozen ago and I missed my window, and I haven't one since. I was close on someone's, but I guessed every Alfa ever except for the one it was.
It's not a Riviera. People are on the right track though.
That is a Pontiac of some sort.
Looks like a '68 Bonneville.
But Bonneville it ain't.
Looks like a 1969 Grand Prix.
No that's not it. Looks like a Pontiac Catalina.
Pontiac Safari?
Still no.
Pontiac Strato-Chief?
It's not a Catalina?!
They all had pretty much the same nose, except for Firebird and GTO.
Just keep on going and I'll say something when somebody gets it, it's easier that way.
Pontiac Grande Parisienne?
It could be a 1968 Grand Prix.
Pontiac Grande Ville?
Pontiac Tempest?
Pontiac LeMans?
Pontiac Beaumont?
Pontiac Laurentian?
QuotePontiac Grande Parisienne?
It's just grand. And it's basically the same as a Bonneville except it was Canadian.
'68 Parisienne 2+2
Jim Carrey.

Actually, it was Grand
e. (Parisienne is a feminine French word. The adjective 'grand' ('great'/'big') is linked with the noun, and as such has to have the feminine version, 'grande'.)
And I know it's basically a Bonneville. It was actually based on the Chevrolet equivalent. Grande Parisienne used Chevrolet 350, 396 and 427 engines, notably.
I have a book here that says "grand"! Maybe it's wrong.

It's wrong.
If it ain't any of the cars mentioned, it absolutely has to be a Ventura.

Bingo.

Phew! I thought this thread was going to go on forever!
Ventura was a Catalina trim package, so I think this was the right answer:
QuoteNo that's not it. Looks like a Pontiac Catalina.

I went around all sides of a Ventura and didn't see Catalina on it anywhere, so that's news to me.
So is it over?
I think so...
Fuck.
Excerpt from the book:
"Catalinas could be equipped with a Ventura option package that included specific badges"
Alright, let's start a new one. Someone do an older Benz, so I can get it. Please?
