Intrepid, thank you for your kind offer for me to PM you the answer so you can keep the thread going. However, I don't feel I've been lax in my duties. If one of the mods feels that I'm not attentive enough, I'll PM them the answer. Despite your assurance that you wouldn't cheat, the Toureg incident still burns brightly in my mind. ;)
:mask:
Whatever floats your boat. However, if I did cheat, I'm pretty sure I'd be banned, and if not banned at least hated and taunted and forced to leave. ;)
edit: And I only offered because I've been here 24/7 lately because of the fact that I'm not allowed to have a life during the last semester of senior year :mask:... not because I think you've been lax in your duties.

Does that mean you know the car? :ohyeah:
So is this the longest GTCC or what? This car must be some one-off custom job some Joe did in his garage and he probably named it after his wife so my guess is the Jane Roadster.
Looks like some kind of modern Hispano-Suiza.
Someone has taken a bookcase from 1969 and made it into a car.
Austin?
No to all. And it's not the longest GTCC. Yet. :praise:
It is a Ford Mustang GT beside a Chrysler 300C. Oh shit...wrong pic.

Well the longest GTCC yet was 158 replies. I'm sneaking up on it. :ohyeah:
Ok are you being sarcastic?
Damn that's wrong, Treppy already guessed that twice. :banghead:
I hate you, you actually gave me a little bit of hope for a few seconds. :evildude:
I was going to say, he better be f*cking kidding. I guessed Morgan like 3 times.

Lucky guess, I was trying to think of the editorial staff on major magazines who seem like they might have designed cars...
Is it indeed by Cumberford?
Yep
Italia? Cumberford body w/ a Ford v8?
No. You're sooooooooooo close.

Cumberford Martinique!
And it wasn't as obscure as some people think.
And there was much rejoicing :partyon:
Haha oh man that was hard to find on google though! "wood fenders cumberford" was the search that got me to it, on a temple of VTec site nontheless!
New one up shortly...will keep with this theme!
the next one better be easy as hell. :banghead:
a simple search of cumberford will find it
Didn't find it for me. :rage:

Congratulations. I knew when I put up the full picture with the wood fenders I was starting to live dangerously. :mask:
If I remember right, it used a lot of Citroen parts and a BMW turbodiesel powertrain. It was very technologically advanced as well, using things like torque-to-yield fasteners and other trick stuff. Interesting car.
I love the use of wood...one of these days, after I make my millions, I'm gonna have a small roadster completely done in teak decking, just like a proper yacht!

You
could just look for a used Martinique ;)
That'd be too easy!
Nah, what I want done is very specific, I want front to back teak done just like onboard a Wally, but I want a teak inlay of some yet-to-be-determined design (probably a compass rose) done on the hood as well.
Put the next one up already :P
It is, we just keep bumping this one!
