TIL that the manual ND’s don’t have overdrive gears. 6th gear is 1:1, it just has a 2.866 rear end gear.

The automatic ratios are much more “normal”

I mentioned I would love a 6spd manual because buzzing at 4k RPMs at 80mph in 5th gets kinda old. Someone said the 6spd top gear is actually lower than the 5spd. (At least on the NB). :confused:

This is true. But the NB with 6 speed has a lower rear end ratio so top gear should still have better highway rpms. Also have taller stock tires which lowers highway rpm
