Pics of Imperial Beach, Ca from a bike seat.
« on: October 18, 2013, 01:00:14 pm »
Been riding around town on the weekends, it's nice to be out there talking to people and just goofing around. This is the California beach town that's closest to Mexico. Benzie's probably never been there.  ;)

AHHHH!

The mountains in the distance are Mexico.

Surfin!

Looking north to downtown San Diego.

My current favorite bike.

So cool, man. Reminds me of a break we have here at the Jersey Shore called Holgate. Can't see the wave too well from this shot but the landscape is similar. This shot I took in Feb. 2010 was reprinted on the cover of the Atlantic City Press, AOL and Jersey Shore Fishing Magazine.

(And you people from other states think NJ is a bunch of factories...  :nutty: :banghead:)

Is this a picture of the wastewater from an oil sludgery?

.....why? It's very bro-ish. And also crowded and it's kinda built up everywhere you look....you'll find me in the less touristy/dense part of SD county further north. Yeah it's not as "exciting" but I like I better. Wayyyy too many meatheads and assorted types in PB. But it is Jersey Shore West, so not surprised you like it.

;)

....and nice pics shippy! I don't think I've ever been to IB, you are right.

What do you think of it? I hear the water quality is questionable.
