Mountain Run part 2
« on: January 17, 2015, 09:19:04 pm »
Went further south this time, explored a new mountain. Very impressed, just wish the whole road was open. A lot of the mountain paths are closed all winter so they don't have to plow them. :/

It looks like you were up Diamond Fork. I haven't been up there for several years but it a great place to go camping. If you are feeling adventurous you can follow the road all the way to Strawberry resevoir.

Yup. Unfortunately the road is closed after 3-4 miles. That's the problem with most of the twisty roads around here in the winter...

Another nice canyon run is Hobble Creek outside of Sprigville. It splits into a left fork and a right fork just past the golf course and both are nice. The left fork is more populated but still very scenic. The right fork is more secluded feeling.

I think I've been on the left fork. The right fork connects to Diamond Fork, doesn't it? When it's not closed for the winter.

So on Ridetech's facebook page, I have the second most likes (after a sweet orange Cadillac from SEMA) but WAY more people have shared the picture than any of the others (66 vs. 4-5 each for the others)
