I thought that coupes are known to come with back seats and sports cars are the ones that are two seater. If that is the case then Vette, Elise, 350z etc. should not be on that list as they are sports cars.

Traditional definition says that sports cars don't have roofs. personally, i think people look to far into the categories and definitions. They're all performance based cars with a decidely sporting edge for under 50K.
