I see Lexus made it look alot less fugly than the concept, it seems they toned down that side outlet..

Those that drove it look really happy.

Catman

Looks pretty much the same as the one I saw at the NY Auto Show.

thewizard16

It's okay. I think there are better ways to have done it, but they'll learn.

You're my age.  We're getting old.  Plus, now that you're married, your life expectancy has gone way down, since you're more likely to be poisoned by your wife.

Well, it is aiming at the 7-series market, isn't it?
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Can't tell if that's a joke or not, but it's an RS4/M3 competitor.

Alas I never saw the IS-F in person.

I guess I was thrown off by the lighting/color in these earlier pictures of the concept.

Looks great. Wish I could see more of the rear in those pictures.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

Saw it in Chicago and didn't like how it looked at all.

Still looks incredibly tacky and wannabe. The stacked exhausts make me go "What the f*ck?" everytime.

What ruins the IS-F is the fat and bubbly front body kit, ridiculous side intakes and the rear stacked exhausts. Terrible.

I think the IS350 is the best one still. Can't wait till they make it stick, or DSG. I'm curious to see how this stacks against the new M3 and C63 though.

omicron

Hmm. I don't hate it. That's a start.

OMG the OP was saying how the Lexus's 8 speed automatic would make manuals a thing of the past.
He should shut the hell up.

Why does it remind me of a current Mazda 6 with fender flares?

Is it just me?

I think that overhead 3/4 view from the rear (first pick) looks a hell of a lot like the Mazda6 hatchback too.

So you'd rather have it look more like a Corolla instead of at least trying to break with monotony?

I could walk around with shit in my armpits to break monotony... doesn't make it a good idea.

However I don't think the stacked exhausts look that bad.

Calling all self-described "performance enthusiasts" with poor taste and more money than common sense.  Your high-quality monstrosity is ready.

Thank the gods they eliminated the cheapo ricer body work and ill-proportioned lowering job shown on the concept.

I used the same underwear for two weeks, not a good idea either. But the exhausts are my favorite part, wish they would've kept the side vents.
