I was cruising around today when I spotted this small Porsche dealership I never knew existed in my region! I didn't take too many shots since it began to rain soon after but enjoy the few pics I took. Damn I love this camera.

Great pictures as usual.  I love that Black Carrera in the third to last photo.

I was at an Aston Martin dealership the other day.  Too bad I didn't get any pictures.

the Teuton

All of those make me happy, but the 993 is still my favorite.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

She'll hate diesel passenger cars, all things Ford, and fiat currency.  They will masturbate to old interviews of Ayn Rand an youtube together.

Maybe it's just me, but I would feel so self-concious if I just whipped out my camera and started taking pictures of cars at a dealership or close ups of people's cars on the street.  Do the owners or dealers ever approach and question you?

nickdrinkwater

If I see an owner with their car I ask if they mind me taking a photo.  Since I only take pictures of nice cars they usually understand.  I have only had to ask a couple of times, both for Ferraris I think.

You'll be happy to know that I asked the manager if I could take pictures. All he asked me was what I will do with them and I said "car forum" and he said "ok". I've also become quite good with discretely photographing people's cars without attracting too much attention although it's harder now with a huge DSLR camera. :tounge:

In my experience you Brits are quite cool with folks taking pictures of your cars, especially exotics.  :praise:

Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Haha, I like the "Sportwagen" sign. If I ever got a Porsche I shall get a "Sportwagen" sticker for it.

It's kinda cool that they have all those classic Porches. I got to admit that I'm not much of a fan of 911 Cabrios, but I do love Targas... at least the old school targas.

It's........in the middle of nowhere. How many Porsche buyers live in paddocks?

nickdrinkwater

Part of Porsche's marketing strategy is to locate dealers in out of town locations, usually on main roads into towns or cities.

That's..........different. I didn't know that. Is such a thing Europe-specific, because it's certainly not the case here?

nickdrinkwater

I know it's the case in Europe, I'm not sure about everywhere else.

There's exceptions to the rule obviously.  There is a Porsche dealer in Mayfair, for example.

They don't have anything new?

They're more of a Classic Porsche restoration / specialist type of dealer.  :ohyeah:

Imagine giving that lovely '70s Carrera a seeing-to in a deserted paddock.

Without cows about, of course.

cawimmer430

Went there again yesterday (Sunday). More pics.

The address, in case you want to visit.  :ohyeah:
