And since when does the CR-V have a 2.8l? It's a 2.4l.

Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

Want to make it real hard?

My mom does not like FWD. She also wish she could get a manual transmission.

A Subaru wagon or Forester with the purse behind the center console?

Element and CR-V are viable.

Seriously though, someone at another forum says they might be able to find a freestyle or Five Hundred for that price.

It's thecarnut's turn.
Sorry, missed my cue.

Are there any used Mazda5's out?

Maybe a CRV/Element would be good.

They both have center consoles. But you wouldn't find a good one at that price, if any, and what would be the point in "downsizing" to a Freestyle anyway?

Point taken.

Chrysler PT?

That was only suggested in the very first post in this thread.

Can she put her purse down? :nono:

There's a wide space between the seats and no center console, you don't have to crouch down to get into it, it's not FWd and has a manual transmission.

What more do you want?

You can get it in a 5-speed.

I know that. The auto is more liveable, and I don't think my dad can drive stick. My mom can.....

If it's for your mom, why does it matter?

Actually it's more or less another household car, non specific to mom or dad.

No FWD and a manual, eh?

Subaru's the way to go, or a Jeep Liberty; they used to come with manuals.
