Pre-owned lux.  Not a fiver though.  I'm still hating the lights on those things.

Is the BMW a CPO?

Not that particular one. CPO BMW's are pricey. The cheapest CPO E90 I saw was listed for $26k with leatherette upholstery.

For that kind of money, I'd start looking for E39 M5s if they are to be had.

That particular car, with 10 miles on it, is going for a little less tan $25,000.  That gets my money.

He flames me, so it's all good.

But seriously, it's a great value.  It's very nice and has quite a bit of power.  It also stops pretty darn quickly.

Think real good about this question before you answer.

What use do you have for practicality?

Then he's just enabling his friends to stay losers. Real friends inspire their friends to get their own car.

But seriously.  My choice is the best of both worlds.  You get a warranty along with some luxurious qualities.  It's no BMW, but it's still a damn nice car.

Make sure you get the uber-luxury SE model with the class-leading 2.7L V6 sporting 190 horsepower! 2.7 x 190 = 513 miles per hour and 315 miles to the gallon!

I can see why you chose the Azera. It is a great car for the price. You get tons of luxury for a low price.

But do you have any care for a good driving experience? The Azera is pretty capable. It has a powerful V6 and a surprisingly amount of grip. But it is VERY far from anything remotely enjoying. It's a car I can see older consumers driving. Most of the Azera's I see on the road are driven by older people.

Oh, and I'd go for the older luxury cars. I'd probably go for a E46 325i.
