Both are excellent. I've never been in a Saab, though.

All three I could agree with.  Josh, you have excellent taste, indeed.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

Great minds...great minds...

I'm still kinda wishin I had bought a Saab at the end of the summer...although my bank account is happy...however I'm rewarding my frugality with a ski trip to Colorado this winter!

I'm gonna go check Sportcombi prices for fun now...

Here's the deal with me: I don't care what I'm driving, as long as I get to drive.  I have fun driving anything.  I like to drive, no matter what it is.

Believe me, you'll get tired of driving REAL quick, especially if you have to do it every day, being stuck in traffic and taking the same route every day.

CJ

I probably will...but I don't right now.  I don't get to drive much, but when I do, I enjoy it.

I drive a car that's not much fun at all, and I haven't gotten tired of driving. I hit traffic, and take the same route every day.

I did that all summer.  104 miles, five times a week.  All it did was make me value my time off the interstate even more.

It's different in every province. $7.75 in Ontario if I'm not mistaken.

It's official.  You guys are getting ripped off.  Here, minimum wage is $7.15 and back home it is $6.85, yet you're paying almost 50% more for the car.  Wow.

How far is the closest US city? What are the rules for bringing cars across the border?

FlatBlackCaddy

I often wished i would have bought slightly used with my 25K. Its funny because when i had the mazda i would look at last gen m5's that were going around 30K and think to myself that i should have bought that instead of a new Speed6. Then somehow i traded the speed6 and moved to the EVO. After i bought the evo i remembered the M5 scenario, for some reason it blanked out of my mind. Either way the prospect of getting more for your money is pretty tough to pass up. Granted that i could barely buy used for what i paid for my EVO new. This is the main reason i bought another new vehicle, that and i didn't want some trashed car(the used EVO is very likely to have been).

Some part of me doesn't want a new car warranty, sure its great if your engine blows up(rare) or something major. Otherwise i have the tools and knowledge to repair just about anything in a car and i prefer to do it myself so i know that its done right and my car isn't damaged in the process(sloppy mechanic, door dings in the service lot, grease on the shifter, etc).

ChrisV

None of the cars I've bought new have ever used their warranty. So, while there was piece of mind, it was kind of wasted. ;)

I looked into an aftermarket extended warranty for the BMW, but the costs on those are enough that it would be less expensive to repair most things that come up anyhow.
Like a fine Detroit wine, this vehicle has aged to budgetary perfection...
