Yeah aren't those engines bulletproof?

The worst things I usually see are oil seepage from every gasket, and coolant leaks from front cover/bracket o-rings. Dexcool sometimes clogs radiators when mixed with other coolants and left unflushed for decades.

I am very tempted to get this as a daily driver.

That interior is spotless

My friend drives one   It was his grandma's, she passed away and it had only 30k miles on it, so he inherited it.  He makes really good money, his wife is a pharmacist, he's just the cheapest person I know.

It's navy blue.  We all call it Big Blue.  I think it's at 100k miles now, and really falling apart at record speed.  I don't think he has any engine issues? I think he had accessory issues (water pump or alternator, something like that) and just had the window fall into the door.

As much as I like the late 20th century big Buick sedans, I think I would tire having one as a daily driver.  Too floaty.  Weekend morning cruising/running errands they'd be great.

I like floaty. My body hurts so much.
But you can easily swap in the equivalent Pontiac suspension for a more sportsy ride.

What's different with the suspension? Stiffer springs/struts?

Yes. GM was very particular about their brand engineering.

They are bulletproof, one of GM's greats. But for a daily driver, rather than a LeSabre, I'd take it in a first generation LaCrosse. I think that was the about the last vehicle the engine was use in?

Yeah, but would you trade it for a 1997 Suzuki? And a gun?

Guns possibly, but I have to make space on the driveway.

I don't have more than $1000 between my guns. A Mosin with an ATI stock, a Marlin 925 .22, a Ruger LCR .22, and a Browning Buck Mark .22. At least they don't take up driveway space.

And did I say the waggins were ripe?

Probably a Geo Tarcer. It takes up less driveway.

Nothing exciting.

A new refrigerator? Nice ones go for around $3500 these days.
