What is this "unintended acceleration"?

Utterly smooth, absolutely perfect horsepower, something you cannot understand.

How's she running?

Running is great, but the blower fan doesn't work so there is no heat and it's been really cold this week. I've been driving the Escort lately for my short trips around town.

No heat? Exact opposite of the 'r0lla. I have to go drop that off at my cousin's house one of these days...

SO, the 'rolla doesn't have no heat, so it has heat? Wow, that's unusual. :nutty:

It has heat, but the A/C is dead. The heat only works with the blower on "HI" too.

I finally found a custom exhaust shop in the area - that is, not a stupid Meinkee with shitty parts and insane prices. I should call them next week and get some flowmastas.

I have also contacted the only VW/Audi performance shop in the state in order to get a timing belt and transmission flush done sometime in the next couple of weeks.
They also do custom turbo, superchargers, engine swaps and dyno tuning.

That sounds quite exciting. Since I haven't kept up with all 26 pages of this thread, what do you plan on doing with the Quattro, long term?

You're my age.  We're getting old.  Plus, now that you're married, your life expectancy has gone way down, since you're more likely to be poisoned by your wife.

Did you ever get a wiring diagram for the car?

And, have you installed your chip yet?
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

No wiring diagram. Did not purchase that online manual, but maybe I will later if I feel like it. Tracking the chip shipment says it is currently in New Hampshire. Stupid slow-ass USPS.

I have no real plans except for the 33-horsepower ABT chip, a better sounding exhaust, better tires, and to keep up with all the maintenece so it can stay in top running condition.

Will your Audi stay on-road, or is there a chance that rallycross might become part of your future, too?
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

It might do a rallycross. I have to inspect a bit more thoroughly first, though.

5-speed swap costs major $$$. The manual transmission's drivetrain is much different than the automatic. For starters, it will require a different engine block and front differential. Not to mention all the wiring harness modifications... what a nightmare!

It's a much more complicated car than mine, and mine is not your typical Cavalier by any means, in terms of complexity.  Assuming we're clear on that fact, it would be very complicated and expensive to 5 speed is Quattro.

Do you have a 3.6 or a 4.2 and what was the difference in power?

BTW, is the 3.6 5 speed a different engine block than the 3.6 auto?

I think it's different enough to require a new block - but don't quote me on that.

So the 3.6 5 speed transmission can fit on the 4.2 auto transmission car but not on a 3.6 auto car? :nutty:
