Anybody whose soul is not moved by the snarling lope of a hot cammed V8 is most likely a borderline sociopath.
Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

I need to change mah pants now...

When it's revving, I love that sound, but otherwise it sounds like a tractor, just like the Veyron.  They both have terrible idle exhaust notes.

I disagree there.  I love the lumpy, half-stalling idle.  Sometimes I pull one of spark plugs out and drive around so my car will make that noise too.

What's the point of a V8 when it sounds like a muffled inline four?

Nick, my Motor Trend statistics say that a V8Q 4.2 is good for a 7.2 seconds 0-60 run.  That's a little quicker than anything you've listed so far.

I has a 3.6, but it is not a slow car. I should take it to a drag strip someday.
