I didn't realize it was that pricey. With AWD and the T5, its about the same price as an A4.

edit: Still a nice car though, just didn't realize it cost that much.

Yeah, load on the options and it can get expensive, but I believe it is still a bit cheaper than the A4 and is certainly cheaper than the C-class and 3-series.

Maybe a bit cheaper, but not by much. I paid 45k CAD for my A4 last year, and the MSRP on this S40 is almost 47k.

I think a new A4 2.0T Quattro would be a little more expensive than this S40 T5 AWD, but not as much as I thought. I thought the S40 was priced around the TSX, which is a good 10k cheaper than an A4.

Again not trying to say the S40 is a bad car...TSX for instance doesn't offer AWD...but its not a "value" car either.

US pricing is different, here the TSX, S40 T5, and A4 2.0 are all around the same price.
