Classic vs. Modern?

1980's designs are rather polarizing. They're sharper and more angular than other eras which some people don't like.

I prefer the sharp edged designs of the 80's over the bloated, bar of soap designs from the 90's.

Classic looks, modern guts, if you want to drive the car at all.

At least get rid of the carb and point ignition and put an '80s-style throttle body fuel injector unit and a '70s-'80s GM HEI or Ford Duraspark ignition on the old engine.

I'm getting too old to play with carbs and points.

Between the two '56s in an earlier post, the '56 Ford is my favorite. I briefly owned a '56 Country Sedan with the same two-toning scheme as the pictured car except that it was medium blue and white, not yellow and white.

I wish I had it now.
