So a little rock chip less than 1 square centimeter has evolved into this overnight. I'm getting it fixed tomorrow at an auto glass place.

I've had them since the AllTrac days. Those seat covers date back to 2002 or 2003, minimum.

Did you contact your insurance company.

When I had it done on the Focus, I think they waived the deductible.

For one, thanks for creating a thread to tell us you're getting a new windshield. I'm going to sleep better tonight.

Secondly, nice seat covers.

Thanks, Jordan! Knowing that you're going to sleep better makes me all warm and cuddly inside.

And you thought you were getting ripped on a lot for that cup holder mod...

Apparently that's just the tip of the iceberg.

lol @ seatcovers....

Yeah windshield chips in this weather can spread in a real hurry with the variations in temperature.

FYI, the best thing you can do with any chip/crack that you intend on getting fixed is to put a piece of scotch tape over it ASAP. It keeps water and washer fluid out of the crack allowing for a cleaner repair and possibly preventing it from spreading.

Good call on the tape, I'll have to try that next time.  I had a chip repaired recently, and just spotted another one!

Trep's next Mod will be installing one of these:

He's going to take it completely out of the baggie for maximum performance.

I already have an air freshener. Believe me, I need it, with all my brown friends and whatnot.

Question, do those "new car scent" fresheners actually smell like the new car smell? I could use that... *thinks*

Since your car doesn't roll enough to move things around, I think you should get a Glade Scented Oil Candle.
