I want a Hot Pink Beetle with the Flower Petal Rims.

Super Sleeper.

A much better choice for the new beetle

The 350Z is the best of the lot that you test-drove Trep.

Why bother with the Altima or the Beetle?  The Beetle is such a chick car that it has a tampon dispenser standard.  I'm surprised your balls didn't shrivel to the size of raisins just from the act of getting into the driver's side of that car.

Have you checked out the Infiniti version of the 350Z?  I checked one of them out a couple of years ago, and it was pretty cool.

Oh man, I remember when the G35 coupe came out.  A guy down the street from my parents bought one (6 speed) and he'd drive the hell out of it.  I remember being home on break and watching him shoot down the road, ripping off shifts.  Such a sexy car, I wanted one so badly then.

I still would buy one.

The G35 coupe is amazing. I'm not too sure so I'll ask; is the 350Z more "hardcore" and the G35 more refined?

Essentially, yes.  Some variants of the Z have a firmer suspension.  The G35 has a longer wheel base (and back seats) and it lacks the rear strut bar of the Z.

Put it this way. Compare them to the Supra and the SC300, in the 90's. The 350Z would be the Supra, whereas the G35 would be the SC300.

And I like the SC300. Awesome car.

I love the Supra, but a black SC300 with black leather and dark tint would be sick.

I'm 100% sure that the SC would be a much, much better value on the used market.

Yeah, but the SC300 doesn't have the performance of the Supra Turbo.

Then the NA Supra might be about the same value; people go for the Turbo model.  Plus, the Supra looks a hell of a lot better, probably handles better, and is a targa.  I'd never get an SC over a Supra, even if I save $500.

Dude. It has HUGE ricer value. It's a Supra! Ricers will orgasm over it, so it's worth more $.

It's hard to determine a market value for the Supra; prices are all over the place.  A quick Autotrader search showed me two Supras around the $70,000 range; one had 9K miles, the other 1000bhp.  Several others well about $50,000, of course all Turbos (which I find strange, because just a few months ago, I did a search for Turbo Supras and they were much more reasonable in price).

But, as you get to the more mundane, the prices even out.  Manual SC300s are incredibly rare.  Sure, they are cheaper and have slightly lower miles, but then again, the SC300 is not as good looking, probably don't handle as well, and are fixed roof.  So at that point it's a value judgment.

What's the point of a manual SC300? Lexus coupes are meant to be touring cars, and I wouldn't want one with a manual.

Dude. Just quit the argument. The SC300 is relatively sporty, considering what's under the skin. I would love one with a manual. I don't think you want any car with a manual.

SPORTS sedan. What don't you understand about it's class? It competes with the 3er, A4, G35, which are all sporting sedans, like the CTS, which offer manuals to add to the sporty demeanor.

Isn't it the same engine the Supra has? If anything, you could switch it out for a Supra engine.

It is, just not TT'd. I believe Nick (NACar) has experience turbocharging a NA Supra, and it's a bitch. I'm sure those GTE's aren't exactly cheap or in abundance.

The early twin-turbo 1JZ-GTEs or later single-turbo versions ought to do nicely, then. The used market here is full of imported Soarers with the turbo six.
