An awesome test between the super hardcore versions and the still stupid fast cars.  Raises the good question of diminishing returns.  Which car would you take?

S204STi

What is the point of a comparison test in which they haven't driven all the cars?  "Before you get your hopes up too high, I'll tell you now: We haven't driven the ZR1 ? yet. That's not going to happen until the end of the year. The estimated performance numbers are subject to much debate."

Idiocy.

Raza

Why would they compare the 911 S to the GT3 RS?  Why not the GT3 to the GT3 RS.

Or the GT3 to the GT2.

LonghornTX

The ACR put down some impressive performance numbers and times.  Definitely seems like one of the more race ready rides out...
Difficult takes a day, impossible takes a week.

I would take the Viper Coupe.  I love the Viper.

Oh yeah, and the article = Monumental Failure.

Here would be my evil twin choices:

Corvette vs. Z06
911 C2 vs. GT3 RS
Viper SRT-8 vs. Viper ACR
Lancer vs. Evo X
F430 vs. Scuderia

Not too many other cars make streetable race cars.  It's unfortunate that the road Saleen S7 would probably end up being faster than the track version.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

She'll hate diesel passenger cars, all things Ford, and fiat currency.  They will masturbate to old interviews of Ayn Rand an youtube together.
You can take the troll out of the Subaru, but you can't take the Subaru out of the troll!

I don't think so.

Why the C2 versus the GT3 RS?  That's ridiculous.  It makes more sense to have the GT3 up against the RS.  You might as well say SLK350 vs. SL65 AMG.

The point is to compare the standard versions to the closest thing to homoligation race cars as possible, right?

Then they should have used the LS3 Vette instead of the Z06.

sandertheshark

I pick:  Gallardo Spyder, Vette Z06, Viper SRT-10, 911 GT2, F430 Scud.
