Manual is standard, and this model had the optional automatic.

Actually looks pretty good.

Personally i think this looks cleaner and sportier than the coupe.

 4 speed auto. Classic GM.

Atleast they are offering a manual, but i bet those will be hard to find. Since most dealerships will have a hard time moving them(around the lot i mean, i'm sure they will sell fine).

ifcar

Cleaner? Yes. Sportier? No.

FlatBlackCaddy

i meant LOOKS sportier, and that was personal opinion.

I'm sure its no performer like the Supercharged SS coupe.

I know, I was just adding mine. I think the sedan looks better personally, but the coupe looks sportier to me without a doubt.

I don't think the Cobalt is sold anywhere else. And according to the window sticker, the car is at an NJ dealer now, so all doubt should be dissipated.

Fire It Up

I meant naturally aspirated.

The coupe is nice and all but i have a couple problems with it.

The rear lights combined with the wing and jacked up rear end(ala neon) stance just make it look akward.

This cobalt almost looks more like a newer mazda(from that side shot), and the ride height looks more level.

GM did pretty good with this one, i normally always favor the 2door/coupe/hatch to the sedan model of a car.

Looks pretty nice. Should be a good competitor to the Mazda 3s sedan. Hopefully we get to see a comparison of those two, maybe with the upcoming Civic Si and Corolla XRS.

I didn't like their options (Onstar? Automatic? Pft!) so i went to edmunds to build my own.

MSRP was 20.5, TMV was 20.2, with cash rebate of $750 out the door price would be about $19.5 (options were heated leather seats, pioneer sound system, and sunroof). Not bad from what i can tell, I think it will be competitive with the Mazda 3s (my current favorite compact sedan).

Tom

Faster than the 3, right?  I doubt better handling though.

and it's lighter and more powerful

Saw it at the auto show a few months back, and I thought the sedan looked nicer than the coupe as well. Those wheels are a head-scratcher though.
