CarSPIN's 100 best-looking cars of all time

Started by the Teuton, March 26, 2008, 08:29:53 PM

the Teuton

Let's make nominations and kick them out as someone finds something ideally better.

Here's my nods:

Spyker C8

1995 Olds Aurora

Ferrari 250 SWB California roadster

2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

Ferrari 250GT California
Porsche 911
Porsche 959
Lamborghini Reventon
Mercedes Pagoda SL
Jaguar E Type
Audi quattro
Audi S8 (first gen)

And many more that I don't have time to say right now because I should be writing a paper.

There's one.  I could let the DB9 pass, but the DBS is just too inelegant for an Aston Martin.

I have to say that the FD RX-7 needs to be on this list, too.  The C5 Corvette wouldn't have been so cool looking without it.

1986 Ford Taurus
196X Volvo P1800
196X Lamborghini 350GT
Datsun 240z
197X Nissan (or was it still Prince) Skyline GTR
Ken and Mary Skyline
1996 Toyota Supra
1994 Acura Legend Coupe
2000 Ford Focus (I think this list should also include everyday cars, the Focus IMO is a timeless design)
1999 Chrysler PT Cruiser (Obnoxiously retro, but the original was great to look at)
Citroen DS/ID
Citroen SM

Soup DeVille

Maybe we need to start off small. I mean, they don't let you fuck the glumpers at Glumpees without a level 4 FuckPass, do they?

1975 Honda CB750, 1986 Rebel Rascal (sailing dinghy), 2015 Mini Cooper, 2020 Winnebago 31H (E450), 2021 Toyota 4Runner, 2022 Lincoln Aviator

Ken and Mary?

I don't know about the Focus.  Beauty has nothing to do with accessibility.  There were far better looking, just as accessible two box designs, in my opinion.
