Parking (my trivial curiosity)

Does parking on uneven ground cause undue wear and tear on a suspension? Say you park on the side of the road w/ one or two wheels on a curb. Is this bad for your shocks/springs/tires/other?

I would say no also-

The Germans are finicky about a LOT of different things- and I doubt they'd all be parking half-on sidewalks if it did any damage whatsoever to their Autos...

I don't see why.  Most suspension problems come from constant cycling or impacts, not from sitting at rest a certain way.

If you parked a solid axle vehicle at full articulation, on the other hand...
