Well the 750Li is just 6 inches longer, do you like it better as well?

QuoteDoes anyone else like the looks of the 745 better than the 750?
I do, but only because of the 750's awful taillight tack-ons.

Raza

You can get two of the last gen XJRs for 70 grand!  The new one, however, is infinitely better (considering the last gen was smaller than an E class and 5 series on the inside).  If you get one a year old, you're looking at nearly 400bhp for 60K or less.  It's a great car--Car of the Bear 2004, if you do remember.

I don't like the 745/750 Li models because all that extra length gets tacked on at the back, and it makes the car look disproportioned.  The regluar model, due to its proportions and wide design, make it look like a smaller car than the last model, but it's actually bigger.  The 750i is a much nicer design, and about as much space as you need.  There aren't any manufacturer deals on them yet, (and honestly, there probably won't be) but when my dad and I went to look at them, the dealer was willing to play ball, and he gave us a great number.

Oh, there's a bit of a trick going on with the 750s that I've noticed...they're stocking all the models with 19" rims, at a cost of a grand or more to you.  If you want that, fine, but if not, make sure you either get them get you a car without them, or say you'll take it at "a reduced price."  Push these guys...if they're good, they'll push back, and you'll win in the end.

I might just stick with the 745i.  Buying this vehicle you are better off letting someone else take the initial hit and you pick it up with 10-25k miles on it for 20-30k off.

I would go for the 2004, the 2003 had a lot of first year problems that might still be lurking. And, Dave, I will show you what I am talking about later, don't have much time right now.

2004 56,500 12,727 miles
2003  $54,995 14,003 miles
I would go for the less expensive one.  It only has slightly more miles, and it appears to have massaging front seats   Cant beat that B)

EDIT:  I thought they were the same year...TBR is right, you should go for the 2004...there would be less electrical gremlins.
