I like the MINI color line interiors:

Not a big fan of the Rooster Red leather option, thoug:

Still like my old interior more than any of them though

That's the nicest interior in the Mini as far as I'm concerned.

Catman

I actually like the last one.

The last one has, by far, the nicest leather and materials.  It also happens to be the most expensive of the trio.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

What materials are better?

If that's the Sidewalk Edition (which it isn't because they were only cabrios), then just the leather.  If it has those seats, it is a newer MINI.  Everything on the interior was upgraded in the newer cars, if only slightly.

Oh, right.  Has August been that long ago?

I was trying to check out the center consoles because they are the most different things between the two interiors, iirc, but I couldn't notice the difference.

Oh well, well the good seats are only available in the convertibles on the Sidewalk model, I think.

Wrong again  :evildude:

It's the lounge leather option either in Rooster Red (as shown) or in carbon black with white piping.  It's a $2,000 option though.

I must have bad taste, I just can't get past the contrast with red door panels and a black dash.  Just looks cheap to me

That leather is far more comfortable and softer.  If I know nothing else about MINIs, I do know that.

I agree, they certainly do feel great, but I can't get over the $2,000 for something to fart on everyday

What pish-posh! That's quaintly fantastic retina-burning interior trimming - the likes of which we shall never see again!

Hmm, I think some aftermarket wheels are a must on this car.  I don't like anything I see in those pics.

I like it better without the spoiler. Looks much more sophisticated without.

After you wake up with the sun at 6am on someone's floor, coughing up cigarette butts and tasting like warm beer, you may well change your opinion on this matter.

Did they keep the green interior lighting?

I love the 5 spoke wheels on the black, red, and silver cars.

Me too.  Though I wouldn't reject the black one or this one (with the 5 spoke wheels):

General observations:

-The car is really growing on me
-The hood is really busy, but not Chrysler busy
-It kinda looks like a mid-1980s Aston Martin Virage

Well, at least this warm reception means a plummeting of used S197 prices.  Nice.

I'm hoping that's true too so that I can pick one up in a few years as my summer ride.  However, the S197 popularity didn't really translate into lower prices for the SN95.

That's interesting.  Maybe the market stayed strong on them because some people didn't like the radical departure of shape to the S197?  Used markets are hard to predict sometimes.

2003 and 2004 Cobras are still going for $30K+, Mach 1s are still over $20K, and unmolested low mileage GT's are still going for as much as $20K.

Most 2002-2004 GT's land in the $13-$15K range though.  I even found a Mach 1 for $14,500 with only 38,000 miles on it.  That's an awesome car.
