I hated the Z3 and current Z4.  But I actually really like this one.

Eye of the Tiger

I liked the Z3, but I hate this one. The shifter is all wrong. The roof is in the trunk. The body is all swoopy in the wrong directions. It looks like Pontiac and Hoover decided to build a roadster together.

I like it better than the current Z4.  Does anybody else think that it looks a bit like an SLK in the first picture?

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

And another damn hardtop convertible.

Looks exactly like an SLK if you add swoopiness.

What is wrong with a good soft top convertible?  Other than that, it looks pretty good.  But I hate hardtop convertibles.  They destroy cargo space and don't look that good.

They don't look as good.
They can be cut.
They will go bad. But then again so will a RHT.
They don't look as good. Darn, I already said that one.
They don't keep the heat or cold out or in as well.
They aren't "cool" looking.

That said I think they should make both so the people who like softtops can have one for less money.
As for this car I like it way more than the current Z4.

the Teuton

I really liked driving the Zphallus4, and with the exception of the long-ass nose, I wouldn't mind one for myself.  But this car just looks leaps and bounds better than the old one.

Sort of like the new Ferrari California.  Likely for the same reason too (the hard top).

Anyone notice the ridiculous amount of rear negative camber?  Is that for real?

The whole car looks like a fake cartoon, so it's no surprising.

Looks pretty good to me outside. Interior is quite unattractive, even for a new BMW.

Vertical slit right in the middle of the hood...

Nonetheless, they look similar in design.

It's a picture of a brochure, so the perspective is probably just at an angle

It looks much better in those pics. Still, it needs a damn soft top. It's not like that hardtop really looks that good, anyway.

The rear 3/4 view with the top down is not bad, but overall... FAIL.

I'd take a Z3 or Z4 first.

The old Z4 was a delight to drive (with the exception of the schnoz and the visibility on the coupe).  I suspect this one will be better yet in both respects.

A horrible, frightening vagina maybe.  I wouldn't go near it.

Not an improvement.  Looks fatter, and the interior is not as attractive as the old Z4.

I like it. It does remind me of the SLK though. Still, I like the SLK, and I like this now as well.
