I just saw on the news that Chrysler, Nissan, and Magna are talking about what Chrysler assets Magna and Nissan are interested in.

the would be great for chrysler! the idea of a gm-chrysler merger makes no sense to me, especially since discussions of eliminating current gm brands. i do understand that combining assets for both gm and chrysler could be beneficial, i would rather see the two remain distinct entities.

Considering that Magna builds some of Chrysler's vehicles (minivans?), it would make some sense for them to acquire certain products.  The Brampton plant assembles 300s.  I wonder how much content is from Magna.
