Here she is! Genuine Mercedes 300SL Roadster! This car was amazing! Great engine sound too! This is the first 300SL I've seen driving on the street!!!

Wow.

Is that a Z8 Alpina or just one with the Alpina wheels?
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I've seen that one before. It once passed me as I was standing at a curb. It's definitely an Alpina, not just the rims.


EDIT: Whoops, nope. This one is a regular Z8. I thought you were referring to the blue Z8 Alpina. Must be in part 4 or 5.  :ohyeah:

Holy cow. You lucked out with that 300SL. Did he remove the top for your benefit, or were you just in the right place in the right time?

Usually, situations like these mean you're at the right place at the right time. I always hang out near the Opera House because there is an underground parking garage there where all the extreme wealthy folks park their cars. This guy exited the garage, pulled over and put the top down (because the weather was so nice). I was simply standing on the steps of the Munich Opera House when I saw him. Then I ran down and began frantically photographing the car from all angles. Took a total of 76 photos of this baby (with camera set to 4.5 pictures / second mode  :tounge:).  :cheers:
