Same guy that did the rockers and fuel lines on the Swift. Now, if only he'd answer his damn phone this week! :rage:

I still have a 1998 Nissan Pathfinder with over 200k miles.  It's been flawless.  Pre renault Nissan liked to overengineer the crap out of their cars.

Especially the paint.  I have no idea what this Pathfinder used for paint clear coat, but it's probably Diamond or something.  I mistreated the hell out of this paint  because I didn't know how fragile paint is (washing it with dirty paper towels), and it just refuses to pick up swirl marks or scratches.  Compare this to modern automotive paint that seems to pick up swirls when you look at it hard...

My dad's '98 (SE 5-speed) was pretty tough too.  He sold it with ~145K miles, still ran incredibly well.  His liked to eat front sway bar links.  Other than that, he never did anything other than oil changes and a timing belt at the recommended interval.  It did get a cracked exhaust manifold (80K miles or so), but that was apparently an issue with some of those engines, and was fixed under a recall.

After you wake up with the sun at 6am on someone's floor, coughing up cigarette butts and tasting like warm beer, you may well change your opinion on this matter.

If you don't do it I'm going to bike all the way to your house and sabotage your Prot so it falls apart and you'll end up having to buy that Pathfinder anyways.

Maybe after that we can get some beers.

I don't think I'll be offering you a beer after you trash the Prot.  But yeah, come over.  We'll go off roading (in the Prot, if need be), then have some home brew (it's ready).

Maybe offroading the Prot will sufficiently trash it enough to get a Pathfinder.

But seriously, you should get that Pathfinder. Or a Tacoma. Or a Viggen!

That's a great local brewery that we have. Do I drink their beer? No.

Pathy has finally found its true path, and it either leads to a scrapyard, or some hole-in-the-wall used car lot.

Huh.  Just over three weeks.

What's your current record for the shortest period of time you've held on to a car?
