Nellis AFB bombing range?

Minpin

Could this be the notorious Area 51? It looks kinda similar, desert and all.

"No, Mr Bond. I expect you to die!?

Also close, but not quite.  Area 51 has various aircraft taking off and landing so it's got proper runways.  No massive craters.

Nevada Test and Training Range?

Still no.  That's actually just the new name for the Nellis Air Force Range.

Luke AFB?

Colder.

No massive craters there either.

Fallon Naval Air Station?

This has definitely got to be some kind of a base with all of the craters.

More specifically, the Bravo 20 bombing range? I know they tested nukes there.

Slightly warmer.  Back in the right state, at least.

Where else did they test nukes?

Nevada Proving Ground is pretty well known.

I'll accept that.

The picture is Yucca Flat - the most used (and abused) region of the DOE's Nevada Test Site, fromerly known as Nevada Proving Ground.

FYI here's how that fits around Nellis and Area 51:

Looking back, Luke was a dumb guess.

I forgot it's the NTS now.
