Just curious.  :ohyeah:

I think Lancia has some cool cars but Lancia in the US will probably be like Saab - low volume...

I don't want any of them. So I don't care.

Keep driving your Toyota...eh, I mean Lexus.  :evildude:

Added a new option for you.

I have no toyota. Or Lexus for that matter.

But I'd rather have one than any of these things.

If they came here with a reincarnated mid-engine Stratos and Evo/WRX-fighting Integrale, then that would be simply awesome. Otherwise, their lineup doesn't really look that compelling. I think it's kinda cool that the new Delta looks kinda like a Nissan Murano scaled down to the size of a VW Golf/Mazda 3, but what else do they have to offer? A minivan, a weird-looking city car, and a weird-looking sedan? meh.

SVT666

Which would I rather have?  The only cars that any of those manufacturers make that I would want are the Fiat 500 Abarth SS or an Alfa Romeo MiTo GTA.....hmmmm, that's tough.  I'll go with the MiTo GTA.  Alfa for me.

Raza

As much as I love Alfa Romeo and Fiat, my one vote has to go to Renault.

As much as I like Peugeot, I also had to give it to Renault.

Alfa doesn't offer many models. The MiTo is ugly, the Brera looks great, but Is outclassed/outperformed by the TT, and the 159 is too expensive.

Why?

EDIT:

Aw CRAP. Didn't see the Citroen option.

I want to change it.

Panda 100 hp, thanks.

Oh wait, we're probably going to get that anyway eventually.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I voted for Alfa, but if I had to do it again I'd probably choose Fiat.

I'd also like to see Citroen in the USA because I think they are nifty cars, but they aren't really my style.

There are more European cars than the Panda 100HP.

Seriously, you guys have made me dislike that car. I loved it when it came out. Now I can't stand it.

TBR

Why would you dislike a car just because other people like it?

ifcar

Skoda. VW needs an outlet to get back to its roots and sell something inexpensive.

Cookie Monster

None, really.

I'd rather have existing brands sell their other cars here (Polo, Fiesta, Focus, etc).

At least the Fiesta (and maybe Polo) are coming here!

Besides The Renault 5 Turbo and Clio V6 I don't really care for anything from Renault or Citroen or Peugeot.

I guess I'd like Alfa here because of the 159.

To my Saturn-driving brother:

Me:  You heard Saturn is going to stay alive, right?

Him:  Yeah

Me:  Penske is basically going to use it to sell international products in the US.  He's pimpin', and it looks like versions of Renaults will be his first hos.

Him:  If Renault were any good, they'd sell their own cars here.  They're dead here, and they deserve to stay that way.

I want an Alfa Romeo that competes with the Miata... a modern day Spider Veloce with 200 hp, 2400 lbs and under $25,000. I'd buy one tomorrow, red w/tan leather interior. I would.

In Car Magazine's GBU, every Skoda but one is rated as "Good", and none "Bad".  It's a better ratio than VW gets.

But yes, an Octavia vRS would help to rid me of the Golf MkVI blues.

So would a Seat Leon Cupra though...tough choice.

The more the merrier, I say.  But if I had to pick one, I'd have to go with Alfa.
Needs more Jiggawatts

2016 Ford Mustang GTPP / 2011 Toyota Rav4 Base AWD / 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 ABS

I hope that Marcedes Banz or whatever company comes over.  I hear they make some halfway decent Lexus knockoffs.

Assuming equal specification (Octavia 2.0TDI/Jetta 2.0TDI, Octavia RS/Jetta 2.0TFSI etc.), the Skoda works out to be around 5-6% cheaper. I'm not sure if that's quite enough, especially considering the Volkswagen's higher resale. The Octavia makes more sense as a used proposition or as a wagon, which is something the Jetta doesn't offer here.

CALL_911

Alfa.

However, there's a part of me that would kill for a Skoda Octavia RS or whatever the 2.0T version is called. A cheaper GTI sedan that looks better than the GLI, I could live with that.

I'm voting Lada, because no one else will.  And I have a strange attraction to Russian cars.

I personally find the new Delta to be very attractive. They look better in person and I have seen quite a few of them in Munich. Like I said, they'll probably be low volume in the US like Saab and will appeal to folks who want something semi-premium and individuality.

New Delta

The Ypsilon is a Fiat 500 rival but a little more upscale. I think its unique design might appeal to a few individualists over in the US. Possibly wealthy teenage girls? They might trade in their RX's for one!

The Phedra...it doesn't hide the fact that it is a minivan. It has premium qualities too.

How do you think the Skoda Superb would do in the US? It is available in 3.6 V6 4Motion trim.
