Basically, it's a decontented and restlyed HS for the JDM market.

Funny, I think it looks better as a Toyota.

I rather like it. It fixes all the problems with the HS.

I like the colour of the leather, but that interior is just strange.

the Teuton

Those seats are almost straight out of a Prius.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

I think it looks cleaner than the HS's. That's probably due to the lack of buttons.

BimmerM3

Pardon my ignorance, but what is this HS you speak of?

Skoda's are far better than Volkswagen's these days.  :ohyeah:

Besides, the HS250h looks like a Euro Toyota Avensis - there is no denying that. This Toyota Sai in turn is a Euro Avensis adapted to the Japanese market.

The Avensis is a sharp-looking car, something the HS isn't. Both are Toyota Vehicles, they shouldn't look alike?

For a modern Lexus sedan the HS250h looks like a Toyota. No doubt about it.

The rest of the Lexus lineup, except their SUVs and the ES, don't. I'm not crazy about the new Avensis either. The old one looked ok at the beginning, but then its rivals started looking good and the Avensis began to look really boring and really old quickly. The current Avensis looks fat, extremely ugly and of course boring in my opinion. I know that style and appearance are hardly important to Avensis shoppers though.

The ES may be a Toyota underneath, but there's nothing in its looks that says that.

I say there's a slight passing resemblance for those who know about cars.

The Previous gen looked a lot like the Camry.

Northlands

Rear end looks Sentra-ish.

We getting the Toyota Sigh?

No-one here has commented on the name.............. I am led to believe that they could not sell it in China with the name "Sai" as people might think the car really does live up to its unfortunate name.

I could not possibly comment!

It looks like a previous generation Camry. It has none of that Lexus styling you can find in some of their other sedans.

It may have similar styling to the Avensis, but it is mechanically a completely different car.  The HSh is not a rebadged Avensis with a hybrid drivetrain.  And the HSh was designed to be a Lexus model first, with the Sai now being a Toyota rebadge.
