Personally I like Kelly Clarkson, Josh Cracin, Carrie Underwood, and Chris Daughtry.  My wife really likes Jennifer Hudson as well.

Jennifer Hudson is very talented. She was excellent in dreamgirls. Fantasia can really sing.

Idol winners don't shine until their second album if they win. That way they get out from under recording the stupid pap written for them for winning.

Daughtry got lucky by not winning, as he could go out and make an album of his choosing to start with, and it ended up being pretty good. David Cook may get that chance later.
Like a fine Detroit wine, this vehicle has aged to budgetary perfection...
