Cars you hate with a passion!

These cars aren't necessarily bad, but something has happened to make you hate them.

My nomination:

S13 240SX.

I am so tired of the ricers who have no imagination and buy a rusted out S13 with a primered and bondoed Silvia facia in hopes to make a SilEighty. In reality, they have a meidocre RWD coupe that is useless in snow, rusts if you look at it wrong, and is generally cramped.

Everytime I see one, I just want to take a brick to the windshield.

2o6

Next car:

2000-Death Cavalier.

Seriously, WHY did you buy this car!? It clearly is the old one with an ugly nose and those same old as ever mechanicals. You really didn't notice that it drives terribly and a comparable Civic or even Elantra were much better cars?

You are an idiot. The Silvias all handled well above average.

Now I won't argue that this is a shitty shitty car, but rebates + price + cheap parts make it a relatively economical choice. Esp. if you bought one used.

Sure you can say you don't like them, but don't start making up reasons as to why they're bad

Weren't that bad in the snow, either.  I drove one year round... in Upstate NY... without snow tires.

They weren't that cramped, either.  No moreso than a Celica, Integra, or Eclipse of that time period.  Hell, I think it was roomier than the current Camaro in every way but cabin width.  Definitely more headroom, despite the Camaro being a full half a foot taller.

Aveo, especially the hatch. That car is dreadful.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

That's a good car. It was the only one from Japan back then in that class that was RWD here in the US. While you feel that some of the people who have them are a little off, it's not fair to hold that against the car.

I liked the S14 a lot.

I don't really have time to hate a car anymore. I can list some that I'd never own or can't stand working on.

Any Dodge. Why? Every person I've known who had one had lots of problems. I'm talking big problems like having 3 transmissions in less than 4 years.I don't trust them.
Ford Ranger and Mazda B trucks that are nothing bu Rangers. Why? I can't stand the way they drive. I know it's a truck and not a Lexus but even by small truck standards it's bad. Even worse with the twin I-beam. I also can't stand working on them.
1980's and 90's Mustangs. Why? I can't stand working on them. I found them cheaply made. The convertibles are a joke. Try working on a frame that bends when you look at it wrong.
Solstice and Sky. Why? No logical reason. I think they are both ugly. I think the tops are a joke. And it's probably just like a Mustang fan not liking a Camaro. An MX-5 person just won't like them.

Nissan Versa

I don't care how many accolades you give it, it's dull and ugly. It's the reason the US can't have nice things. We keep buying dull cars like these.

Buick Century

I didn't think it was possible to be this geriatric.

Chevrolet Lumina

It looks nice, but the rest isn't that nice. I hate them moreso because my parents and brother thinks that they're good cars. They want me to get some sort of GM midsizer.

I think that's a good perspective.  I don't really hate much either, but there are certainly cars which reside on the bottom of my list.

The only thing I can think of is the utter hypocrisy of sport-hybrid SUVs.  But I'm not really sure it's the car's fault.

It's a shame that US models were saddled with a truck motor.  I still like the S13 and S14 an awful lot though.  Not enough to pay the drift tax though.
