Yep.... there were 4 of us living in NC, and I never met any of the 'spinners.  JWC, myself, Onslaught, and another that lived near Norfolk (ZCarNut?)

Tave and TBR both currently go to Wake Forrest too.

Yes. Preferably black.

eh--I'm not a huge fan of drops. Wheel wells are symmetric at stock ride-height, and since this is an AWD vehicle bound for the Michigan upper-peninsula, I'm guessing he needs all the height he can get.

Depending on price, that could be a good deal.

You have a point about the ride height for winter but I think it would look a bit nicer if it was lowered just a little bit.

Lookin good  :ohyeah:

How's all that torque treating you? I don't know if you've driven it enough, but have you noticed how the power drops off before the redline, like 5500+ (which I surmise is the torque dropping off)? It's probably faster if you shift a little before it redlines.

Teuts: I'm doing well with the stick and I'm glad I chose to get the manual. I stalled a couple times puttsin around the lot but was fine on the streets; just super nervous/stressed with the Grand Rapids lunch time traffic. I'm pretty comfortable now, 350 miles later. Got 34 MPG!

Caddy: I haven't revved her that much yet, but cansay I'm terribly pleased with the power this far :ohyeah:

You're outperforming PlastiCar.

Once again, awesome choice. You wouldn't be getting numbers like that in a Bimmer.

I hope you took some pictures of the car on the way home and that the dealer snapped a picture of you and the car together on pickup.  Even if you don't want to show that picture to anyone, it'd be something nice to hang on to.

When I bought the Cooper S, the picture the dealer took of me and the car at pickup flew out my window between W-S and Greensboro on I-40, and wish I could go back in time to get it back.  Probably the biggest smile I've ever had on my face in that picture.

I'm getting 33 with the 5-speed and a slightly less aerodynamic body.
