This will be a hard one. That's what she said. I think both England and Italy have made the best overall looking cars. They fall apart but look great!

Of all time? This is actually kind of easy

Can't talk about Britain w/o talking about interiors. Jesus Christ, look at this dash

TVR Griffith 500  ( British, not the russian version of the company now )

AC Cobra

It's a '66 I think , so it's technically still British.

No way.

The Mclaren is at best weird looking, but in an attractive way.  The AC Cobra is very nice, sure, and while it may be a British design, the GT40 is still an American car.

I will pretend you didn't say that about the McLaren, but the GT40 is British.  It might be an American car company, but the the car was designed and built in England by Brits.

The latest Mini is an American design, built by the Germans.

Does not mean it's an American or German car, however.

Uh-huh.  Hence it's not British either.  The GT40 was designed by the lead designer for Lola on loan to Ford and the ex-Team Manager of Aston Martin looked after everything.  Both British dudes with a British team working in Slough, England.  British company Abbey Panels built the chassis.  The only thing about the car that wasn`t British was the engine.

I'm somewhat biased, but my avitar says it all.  E-types make about every top 10 styling list world wide, not just British.  Usually in the top 2 or 3.

Without a doubt a fantastic looking car. I have a thing for the XK150 as well.

Originally based on an Eric Broadly Lola designed and built in England.  Final development and rebuilding of the Mark I  was in California under Carroll Shelby directly working for Ford under contract.  The Mark IIs which won in 1966 were distinctly American, by then the connections with Lola were nonexistent.

That's true.  But the Mark I is definitely British and it was the best looking one.

Rover's last hurrah, the 75.  Gorgeous car!  Too bad it never made it across the pond.

That car is ugly. Odd front facia styling, bloopy proportions, faux-Jaguar interior, just no.
