It looks good but it's a least as heavy as a 599.  They should have had a goal of ~33/3400lbs.

This is not a small car.

Beautiful car, but for Christ's sake do away with the fucking "hybrid boost".

One of the best executed retractable hardtops I've seen, aesthetically.  I don't think I would have known it was a drop top had the article not said something.

Whoa. :mask:

Catman

Jesus Christ I really like it.

the Teuton

I think it looks kinda generic, like a Tesla S coupe.
2. 1995 Saturn SL2 5-speed, 126,500 miles. 5,000 miles in two and a half months. That works out to 24,000 miles per year if I can keep up the pace.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

Oh damn, I didn't even notice. I wonder what it'll look like with the top down though. Some of those lines look like they wouldn't translate well to a top down shape.

Raza

I really like it, but it's a bit too Italian.

Yes, it's pretty good.

I don't love it, though.

Good catch!!!!!

the Teuton

This car will be more interesting when it has a 3-pedal option and a row-it-yourself transmission.

Right now, this thing might as well be a $200k Lexus SC430.

With over 500HP? I don't think so.

It's basically a Ferrari California except with an extra 160hp.

Damn, when I put it like that, it sounds pretty attractive.

A 3600-lb. Lotus?  Colin Chapman is rolling over in his grave.

Xer0

What exactly is "optional integrated hybrid boost" anyway?  Otherwise, this looks fantastic.

If it weren't badged as a Lotus I would disagree 100%

Since it is I disagree about 95%

Electric motors make all of their torque instantly. This will likely provide a nice little blast-off when you press the gas from a stand still.

Xer0

Yeah, but in the Autoblog preview it wasn't talking about the hybrid in the engine but rather as part of the trans.  Thats what's not making much sense to me.
