Yeah I had no idea where the Audi name had come from.  Anyways, would love to see that Horch back to it's former glory.  I figure many of the parts will have to be custom made.

It should also be noted this 1953 Ingolstadt-built one-off wan't the last car to bear the Horch name.  The old Auto Union factory in Zwickau (now part of Communist East Germany) made the Horch P240 (later called the Sachsenring P240) from 1955-58.  By this time, the remnants of the East German Auto Union was part of IFA, the state-run holding company which owned all the East German car manufacturers.  The Zwickau factory later produced the infamous Trabant.
