And Fiat has a website for building your own.

What do you think of the pricing?

Personally, I think these are going to be a monster hit. It has the cheeky aura of a Mini, but can be had for tens of thousands less.

The average price of a non-Cooper S that left our Bimmer dealer when I worked there was around $22k, or $3k in options. I have no idea about S models. I never saw a Clubman below $27k.

This has all of the same cheekiness. If people can get past the diminutive sizing and small engine (104 hp vs. 118 for the Cooper), I think it'll be a hit, too. Fiat needs to deliver on quality, too, though, which has been lacking with their cars traditionally. BMW/Mini has a 3-year courtesy program. If Fiat doesn't have something similar with service, it's going to be an uphill battle for them.

Yes, it's $16k. But it's still very much a premium product.

I don't care about all that shit.  I'll be going to college to get an education at a cost to my parents.  I'm not going to fool around.

She'll hate diesel passenger cars, all things Ford, and fiat currency.  They will masturbate to old interviews of Ayn Rand an youtube together.

That pricing for the U.S. is fantastic. The 500 has been available in Mexico for about a year and it is priced directly at MINI levels. The top of the line 500s actually get into MINI S territory. So they have sold about 3. I almost never see one.

That's very surprising... in Europe, the 500 is priced well below Mini levels, and accordingly, over half a million of them have been sold in 3 years!

I might have to buy it if they sell an Abarth version.

Reports yesterday revealed that the Abarth is coming to the US, but you'll have to wait a little while for it.
