Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal?

Not sure which town, but that looks like a Portugal flag to me in the background.
?Do you expect me to talk?"
"No, Mr Bond. I expect you to die!?

Colin

Well spotted....... it is a Portuguese flag!

But wrong town.

Should be easy now to get to the correct place.

Minpin

Aveiro, the Venice of Portugal!
?Do you expect me to talk?"

Colin

Yes, sir.

This is indeed the Venice of Portugal, Aveiro. Likw pretty much all of Portugal, it is a very agreeable place. The boats are called "Molicieros" and they historically were used to harvest seaweed, which is used as a fertiliser on the local farm lands. They are very eye catching and now attract tourists. Several of them are now redeployed to take tourists around the canals of the city.
